The Department of Foods and Nutrition at Purdue University anticipates

Outreach/Research Faculty Position
Department of Foods and Nutrition
Purdue University
The Department of Foods and Nutrition at Purdue University is seeking
applicants for a tenure-track faculty position (10-month) at the
assistant, associate or full professor level. Expectations of the
applicant will include establishment of an independent research program
related to Bone Health, Botanicals, Energy Balance or Cancer Prevention
(the Department signature areas) and development/supervision of
statewide outreach activities related to one or more of these areas.
Qualifications desired are a record of scholarly activity as evidenced
by publications and successful grantsmanship; demonstrated excellence in
communication skills in community-based programs; and an interest in
helping to facilitate the greater mission of a Land Grant institution.
Salary will be commensurate with experience.
Initial screening of applications will begin December 1, 2003, and
continue until a successful applicant is identified. The application,
including 1) a description of current and planned scholarly activities
and involvement in university outreach programs; 2) a curriculum vitae;
and the names, addresses, email and telephone numbers of three persons
