[PHNUTR-L] MyPyramid site question

Hello Ellen and Listserv Members -

The RDA for carbohydrates is 130 grams, so that is set as the "minimum" daily target/goal.

The total amount of CHO in the Trackers analytical report will vary with the macronutrient distribution in the daily intake that each individual reports.

Please let me know if you have additional questions and I'll refer them to our Tracker experts.

Best regards,

Joan

Subject: [PHNUTR-L] MyPyramid site question

Hello, All:
I have a question about the MyPyramid tracker portion of the site. I have my students using it to evaluate their diets, and the recommendations for CHO intake for EVERYONE is 130gm. This does not make any sense! Does anyone know why this is happening?
