[PHNUTR-L] Web resource: consumer food safety handouts/posters (updated) and PowerPoints

Hi Everyone!

If you include  consumer food safety in your presentations, we have just 
updated our (free) handouts/posters, created in partnership with Joyce 
Jensen,  Lincoln-Lancaster County Health Department. They can be 
downloaded from the Web. (We also have several PowerPoints)

Handouts/Posters  include:

- Extensive temperature charts, including guidelines on purchasing, using 
and calibrating thermometers
- How to handle "planned-over" foods
- A food storage fact sheet
- Refrigerator storage fact sheet
- Tips on when to toss "kitchen cupboard" foods 
- 6 table tents
- EXTENSIVE selection of handwashing posters

We also have several handouts that go with food safety PowerPoints you can 
download. You're welcome to use as best meet your needs. They are full of 
images of food-safety related images.
