[PHNUTR-L] RD Blogfest -- Celebrating National RD Day

Attention RD Bloggers,

In celebration of National Registered Dietitian Day, March 11, 2009,
we are organizing an RD Blogfest. A Blogfest, also called a blog
carnival or synchroblog, is an event when a group of bloggers write a
post on their own blogs about a particular theme or subject. The
bloggers also link to the posts from the other blogfest participants.
It is a unique way to share a common interest and connect other
bloggers, while increasing traffic to your blog.

The theme of March's blogfest is Dietitian Showcase. It is an
opportunity for you to showcase the world about the services and
benefits you provide as a dietitian. Although some of you may already
have this type of information already on your blog, it is worth
repeating and expounding upon. Whatever your practice setting, whether
you blog to promote your business or to keep up with family members,
this is the opportunity to demonstrate the unique capabilities of a
dietitian, as well as the diversity of settings where a dietitian's
role is valuable. If you have been considering blogging, then start
one and join us!

Submission criteria is pretty straightforward:

*You must be a Registered Dietitian
*Your post must have a positive tone that is respectful of other
dietitians and professions.

Logistics and deadlines will be sent at a later date.
