Hello,

A new resource, the Autism Spectrum Disorders & Dietary Supplements
Health Outcomes set, has been released by IBIDS, the International
Bibliographic Information on Dietary Supplements database. It is free
and available here: http://grande.nal.usda.gov/ibids/index.php (lower
right-hand side)

IBIDS Health Outcomes is a special feature of IBIDS which presents
hand-selected sets of bibliographic article records from the past 10
years that combine a health outcome with one or more dietary
supplements. These sets, drawn from the bibliographic records in the
IBIDS database, are intended to provide a balanced overview of the
literature as they relate to a specified health condition in humans.
They are not the result of exhaustive surveys of the literature,
however. Topics are chosen based on current interest and research
trends, and may be especially useful for health professionals and
journalists.

Health outcome/supplement pairs currently available:

* Autism Spectrum Disorders & Dietary Supplements
* Cancer & Vitamin D Intake
* Weight Loss & Calcium
* Menopausal Symptoms & Herbals
* Athletic Performance & Creatine
* Cardiovascular Health & Omega 3 Fatty Acids

Watch for an "ADD/ADHD & Dietary Supplements" Health Outcomes set in the
near future...

The IBIDS database, a collaboration between the NIH Office of Dietary
Supplements and the USDA National Agricultural Library Food and
Nutrition Information Center, contains over 760,000 citations on the
topic of dietary supplements from four major database sources (MEDLINE,
AGRICOLA, AGRIS, and CAB Abstracts/CAB Global Health.)
