The successful candidate will serve as the Nutrition and Food Safety
Program Leader, acting as a focal point for national strategic planning
and policy analysis for the development of information programs in human
nutrition and food safety for the National Agricultural Library's (NAL)
Food and Nutrition Information Center and Food Safety Information
Center.

The Food and Nutrition Information Center (FNIC)
<http://fnic.nal.usda.gov/>  has been a leader in food and human
nutrition information dissemination since 1971.  The Food Safety
Information Center (FSIC) <http://fsrio.nal.usda.gov/>  was established
in 2003 to develop stronger collaborations among food safety information
programs.
