Friends:

Just a heads-up, even tho' I know you're still recovering from the
excitement of this year's wonderful APHA annual meeting.

The 130th Annual Meeting and Exposition in Philadelphia, PA, November
9-13 was by far APHA's best meeting ever and the feedback has been very
positive according to Donna Wright, APHA Program Planner in a recent
email to meeting participants.

She goes on to say that the APHA web site will open for abstract
submissions on December 20 and will close the first week of February,
depending on the Section, SPIG, or Caucus you submit your abstract to.
If your abstract is accepted, please remember that you MUST become an
APHA member and register for the meeting in order to give your presentation.

Just so that you know, the 131st APHA Annual Meeting and Exposition to
be held November 15-19, 2003 in beautiful San Francisco, CA.

Begin planning your abstract for next year's meeting. The Call for
abstracts isn't that far off.
