How to...Chair a Meeting (some hints)

Friends:

We may feel we attend too many meetings, and perhaps we do. As I was 
exploring the HSR journal site, I came across a very nice article 
titled, "How to...Chair a Meeting". I was particularly interested to see 
how few meeting  types there are. Five is the number, and here they are: 

# Co-ordinative
# Executive
# Informative
# Consultative
# Diversionary

My only comment was, I wonder how often people actually consciously call 
a Diversionary meeting. After some thought, I concluded that it was 
likely more often than one would wish.
