Friends:
I got some really great suggestions - in fact, I got so many I'm going
to split the article I'm writing into two articles - one that talks
about what foods to take with you to a conference and the article I
actually started with on making the most of conferences.
My compliments to you all. You are so generous with your expertise and
with the sharing of your knowledge.
I will post the articles to the list for feedback when I get them done.
Be patient. I'm trying to get my sessions done for APHA (due all
organized late today).
Thanks again. (And if you think of any hints as you go off to other
conferences, send them along).

"The illiterate of the 21st century will not be those who cannot read and write, but those who cannot learn, unlearn, and relearn. " Alvin Toffler
"Only those who will risk going too far can possibly find out how far one can go." T. S. Eliot
"The master in the art of living makes little distinction between his work and his play, his labor and his leisure, his mind and his body, his information and his recreation, his love and his religion. He hardly knows which is which. He simply pursues his vision of excellence at whatever he does, leaving others to decide whether he is working or playing. To him he's always doing both." James Michener
