NN/LM PNR SUPPLEMENT: OHSU Outreach Project Cited

The January 1998 issue of Medicine on the Net (pp. 15-18) features an
article by Margaret Connors, Assistant Professor at Oregon Health Sciences
University (OHSU) Libraries in Portland. The article (pp. 15-18) discusses
Spanish-language patient education resources on the Internet and mentions
the OHSU Patient Education Resources Web site.  It also mentions the
outreach project funded by the NN/LM PNR which OHSU Libraries is
conducting and for which Margaret is the principal contact. The project
involves outreach to healthcare providers in the Hood River, Oregon area
who are learning to use the Web as a resource for both patient education
and provider information.
