[PNRNews] FYI from the RML: Letter to Hospital Administrators for
NMLM
NNLM PNR

Fri Oct 15 17:19:14 PDT 2004
This incredibe offer will be gone in two weeks so don't delay! October is
National Medical Librarians Month. In celebration, the Pacific Northwest
Regional Medical Library would like to send a congratulatory letter to hospital
administrators informing them of the invaluable services medical librarians
provide.
Like so many of your colleagues have already done, take a moment out of your
busy schedule to advocate for your library.
Read the letter that the RML would like to send to your hospital
administrator at http://nnlm.gov/pnr/advocacy/hosplibletter.html
Then email the name of your hospital administrator, or your supervisor, or
both (be sure to include their title, your name and the name of your
hospital as well) to the Regional Medical Library at
nnlm at u.washington.edu. You may even include a personal paragraph, like an
award you have won, a consortial buying purchase, or any project that you
are working on, and we will insert it. We will mail the letter on NN/LM
PNR letterhead, with Sherrilynne Fuller's signature, to your administrator
in October.
Don't delay. Do it before October and National Medical Librarians Month
are over.
