[PNRNews] FYI for Washington Libraries: Proquest Training

If you are a Washington library that has taken part in the Proquest 
database purchase project, and some of you have, then here is a message 
from the Washington State Library that might be of interest to you.

  APRIL ONLINE TRAINING ON THE NEW PROQUEST CONTENT

In conjunction with the Statewide Database Licensing Project (SDL) of the 
Washington State Library, the ProQuest trainers will be offering a series 
of web conference training sessions during the week of April 25th. Classes 
are designed to either introduce users to the new Culture Grams database, 
or focus on some of the new content and product upgrades that will be 
available starting July 2005. Web conference training allows you to 
receive valuable skills without leaving the comfort of your home or 
office!

Specific times and dates for the one hour training sessions are as 
follows:

 	Tuesday, April 26th - 10:00am Culture Grams. 2:00pm ProQuest What's New

 	Wednesday, April 27th - 10:00am ProQuest What's New

 	Thursday, April 28th - 9:00am ProQuest What's New. 10:00am Culture Grams

 	Friday, April 29th - 10:00am Culture Grams

All the ProQuest What's New classes include a section on using Ethnic
NewsWatch and Alt PressWatch.
