Pointers are given on creating and maintaining the family history.

The History of Medicine Division of the National Library of Medicine is pleased to announce that catalog records from the Prints and Photographs Collection's "Images from the History of Medicine" database (http://wwwihm.nlm.nih.gov/) are now searchable in NLM's online database LocatorPlus: http://locatorplus.gov/cgi-bin/Pwebrecon.cgi?DB=local&PAGE=First.
* National Library of Medicine and NN/LM PNR holiday closures:
The NN/LM PNR Regional Medical Library and the National Library of Medicine will be closed December 25 and January 1 in observance of Christmas and New Year's Day. NLM will also be closed on December 24.
