"My Left Breast" Play Tickets

To recap the August message, PNW SOPHE (and any interested others--you do
not need to be a SOPHE member) has been given an opportunity to buy
discounted tickets for the play, My Left Breast.  "Winner of the 1995 OBIE
award for Playwriting and the Susan Smith Blackburn prize for Best Play
written by a woman in the English language, My Left Breast is a powerful
comedy of dramatic changes.  In this humorous, insightful exploration of
the meaning of survival, Miller's one woman show addressed the universal
themes of loss, change and redemption by using her mastectomy as a metaphor
of resilience, demonstrating that life's losses not only define, but also
redeem us."

Ticket Price: $12.99 each, no limit on number of tickets purchased
Curtain:  7:30 PM
Date(s):  We can choose one or divide the group between two Thursday nights
(Thursday night was the most popular response to previous emails.  I
avoided October 23rd, due to the PNW SOPHE scheduled continuing education
workshop on Friday, October 24th!)  The theater holds 192.  We can also buy
out a night!  So pick the date:
October 16th
October 30th

Email me with your confirmed date and number of tickets, and I will tell
you where to send the $$$$.

For the record:  The play opens with previews October 11th, 12th, and 14th.
 There are shows Wednesday through Sunday through November 2nd.  If you are
passionately interested in this production, you might also want to consider
the performances on October 23rd and October 25th, when there will be
post-play discussions.
