Statistics on the Relative Healthiness of the Population

UnitedHealth Group has put out a report titled: UnitedHealth Group State
Health Ranking - 1999 Edition
http://www.unitedhealthgroup.com/stateranking/index.html 

In this you can find data by rank on all 50 states on Lifestyle issues
(smoking prevalence, motor vehicle deaths, high school graduation, etc.),
Access, Occupational Safety and Disability, Disease, and Total Mortality. 

On another page you can find the Upper 10 States and the Lower 10 States.
It's nice to know that Washington State (where I live) is in the upper 10. 

These kind of comparative data are occasionally useful for various
projects.
