Hello -

I wanted to let everyone on the list, including new member Melody, that Group Health offers a variety of internships for health education students. I currently have an undergrad internship position available, year-round. It is a paid internship and can be up to full-time. I am flexible with hours and duration (depending on school requirements).

The position is open now and I am looking to fill it asap. I would be happy to send an internship description to those who are interested. You can e-mail or call me at (206) 287-4337.

Subject: New and request
To: PNWHEALTH at u.washington.edu

Just wanted to take a moment to introduce myself and make a request.
My name is Melody Madlem, and I am a new Assistant Professor of Health
Education at Central Washington University. For those of you that may
have known Dr. Sharon Elaine, I am replacing her as she retired this
past Spring. I specialize in Community Health Education, and am excited
to be in the great NorthWest.

Now for my request. Since I am new to the area, I would appreciate any
information you or your organization might be able to provide on
internship opportunities for our health education students. I will be
coordinating several experience3s for our students.

Thanks, in advance, for the help. Y'all are appreciated. (I'm from
Texas... what can I say?)
