My fellow colleagues,
The Robert Wood Foundation is accepting nominees for its annual Community Health Leadership Program awards. The $100,000 awards recognize innovative and compassionate leaders who've implemented new programs within their communities to improve the health of underserved populations.
Previous recipients come from 30 states and Puerto Rico. The majority are women and many have an educational or professional background other than medicine.
Anyone wishing to offer a nomination must submit a letter of intent by Sept. 16, 2000. Brochures and letter of intent forms can be obtained at Community Health Leadership Program, phone 617/426-9772.
Hm.... Also, we have just put the finishing touches
on a new grantseeking guide:
Prepare for Success - What to do Before you Write Your Grant Application or Proposal
Prepare for Success is written to give you an edge in the competition to win public and private funding. This just-published report is a valuable "how-to"
resource for anyone who is searching for federal, private, or foundation funding.
It covers topics such as long-range planning, selection of the grant researcher, pre-application research, and much more.
