Subject: Re: Washington Poison Center

Hello All. The Washington Poison Center is developing a statewide education
plan. As part of the development of that plan, they would like to get input
from health educators about items such as: (1) the type of poison education
they currently do (if any) , (2) whether or not they use the Poison Center
for professional consultation, (3) whether or not they suggest
patients/clients call the Poison Center, and (4) how the Poison Center could
assist them in providing poison education.

If you would be willing to participate in a phone interview about the Poison
Center, please send me your name, email address, phone number, employer, and
type of health education you do (e.g., hospital classes for prenatal and
geriatric populations). We will be selecting a judgement sample of about 20
health educators from across the State, who work in a variety of settings,
with a variety of populations.

Thanks for helping with this effort to strengthen the education component of
the Poison Center.

Best,
Sheri Reder, PhD, MSPH
Consultant to the Poison Center
