The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) plans to award an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity, cost type contract to obtain an as needed mechanism to essential information in the area of economic and other prevention effectiveness studies. These work parameters focus on the economic impact, including cost benefit; cost-effectiveness; cost utility; decision analysis of program and/or policy strategies, or estimates of the cost of specific health problems or programs. The information generated from these analyses contributes directly to emerging policy/program decisions, program modifications, allocation of resources, and support for major administrative initiatives.

The anticipated period of performance is 60 months from the date of award. The request for Proposal (RFP) due date will be approximately 30 days after the release date. The tentative release date is 14 June 2002. The RFP may be accessed electronically through http://www.eps.gov. All correspondence must reference RFP No. 2002-N-00440. Telephonic requests for RFP will not be accepted. Hardcopies of RFP will not be available.
