Friends:

A few weeks ago you were kind enough to send suggestions for help
in developing health education materials for use by a librarian
colleague, Patricia Auflick. Both of us thank you. You all are great!

Patricia says: "Your folks were so helpful. I wanted to share
with them what I've developed for a workshop if they are
interested. The topic is how to develop health education
materials, but touches on health literacy, and easy-to-read
materials. You are welcome to forward it or not - if you think
anyone would be interested in it. I hate reinventing the wheel
so I'm always willing to share the work I've done. Anyone is
welcome to use it - all they need to do is credit me/the AHS
Library."

So, Patricia developed these two handouts and is making them
available for your use. They're too large to put into an email so
I posted them on the Web for you to use/adapt (with credit) in
compliance with Patricia's wishes. Once Patricia's Web site is
back in operation, I'll send you the new URL.

The handouts are located at:
http://depts.washington.edu/hswork/ph/auflick/

One is a PowerPoint presentation. The other a Webliography of
resources. Enjoy!

Thanks again for your help. Let us know if you find them useful.

Laura
