[PNWHEALTH] Coordinated School Health Position - Tacoma

The Tacoma Pierce County Health Department is recruiting for a regular full time position to promote CDC's Coordinated School Health Model among receptive school districts in Pierce County, Washington. A description of the 8 component model can be found on CDC's web site www.cdc.gov.
 
The position will be responsible for building effective relationships with school personnel, providing training and technical assistance to them to develop an infrastructure for developing and implementing school health policies, managing a mini-grant program to support their efforts, and monitoring  their progress toward a healthier school environment. 

The position is located within the Prevention Priorities Program and will coordinate with several other staff with technical expertise in work site wellness, tobacco prevention, alcohol misuse, violence prevention, etc.

The salary range is $47,444-$60,715
