The Washington State Department of Health (DOH) is searching for an
energetic, self-motivated and committed public health professional for
the position of Health Services Consultant 4 (HSC) within the Chronic
Disease Prevention Unit of the Community and Family Health Division.  

The person serves as the designated department expert/specialist for
asthma and manages the state Asthma Program.  He/she monitors, analyzes,
and applies the latest research, best practices, federal/private
guidelines and strategies used to improve the health of people at risk
of or diagnosed with asthma.  The Asthma Program Manager works in the
Chronic Disease Prevention Unit equally positioned with the diabetes,
heart disease and stroke, nutrition and physical activity programs.
