UWMC Health Information Resource Center has an outstanding opportunity for a part-time Program Coordinator.  This individual utilizes customer service, computer, budgetary and interpersonal skills to coordinate program activities and service delivery for UWMC Health Information Resource Center.  The Program Coordinator must function independently and set priorities while managing multiple activities and deadlines simultaneously.  Under general direction of the Manager, maintains program budgets and select projects.  Responds to and 
assists patients, family and staff with health information and education needs 
as they pertain to the Resource Center. Serves as front line greeter/ 
receptionist to all Resource Center visitors.  Other duties as assigned. As an

Requirements: High school graduation or equivalent AND two years of experience in the program specialty OR equivalent education/experience.

Desired: Bachelor's level preferred.
Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
Strong presentation skills.
At least two years basic experience with MS Word 2000.
Familiarity with Access or similar relational database.
Ability to use all office equipment.
Excellent interpersonal skills.

Keyboard skills:  50 - 60 wpm.
