Health Services Consultant 1 - Entry Level Health Educator

The Washington State Department of Health, Division of Community and
Family Health, Office of the Assistant Secretary, Office of Health
Promotion <http://www.doh.wa.gov/cfh/ohp/>  is seeking a qualified
individual to fill the position of Health Services Consultant 1 - Entry
Level Health Educator.  This position is located in Tumwater,
Washington.  (Recruitment # DOH686)

 

This position provides support to local health jurisdictions, local
communities and Department of Health programs in their health promotion
efforts by improving access to current and effective health education
materials and resources.

 

Duties include:

*         Compiling and posting health education resources on the Health
Education Resource Exchange (H.E.R.E. <http://www3.doh.wa.gov/here/> )
online clearinghouse. 

*         Assisting with maintenance of web pages managed by the Office
of Health Promotion.

*         Participating in the development, publicity and evaluation of
health promotion services. 

*         Assisting with testing and revising educational materials and
campaigns. 

*         Assisting with managing distribution, inventory and reprinting
of educational materials. 

*         Conducting quarterly updates of the Health Education
Publications Catalog.
