partnership with the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign-known for
their digitization expertise. 

 

Learn at your own pace

You will join course instructors from Sept. 11-29 to receive this
comprehensive introduction to all aspects of digital collection
building. Run through WebCT online course software, you'll participate
in lively online discussions and solve real-world digitization problems
right from your own computers-when and where it's most convenient for
you. 

 

Course topics

Topics covered include: benefits and costs of digitization projects; how
to design projects, set goals and evaluate digitization projects, as
well as planning issues for all aspects of digital collection building.
