Special Pricing for Preservation Online Workshops

Amigos is partnering with the American Society for Training and Development
to promote Employee Learning Week?  If you sign up for online training
during the week of December 7-11, you will receive a 25% discount!   If you

following workshops in January:

 

Preservation of Photographic Materials                      Wednesday,
January 13 and Friday, January 15        1 pm to 3 pm, CST

Preserving Your Historical  Records                          Thursday,
January 21 and Friday, January 22            10:30 am to 12:30 pm, CST

On-Request Training Available from IPS

If you have a group of interested professionals at your library, museum, or
archive, in your professional organization, or in your city, did you know
that we can provide on-site face-to-face training?  For a group of 10 or
more this can be a very cost effective solution to your need for training. 
Our Adjunct Preservation Field Services Officer, Rebecca Elder, has taught
across the US on topics such as Emergency Preparedness, Response and
Recovery, Preservation of Photographic or Audio Visual Collections,
Introduction to Preservation Principles and Practices, and Basic,
Intermediate and Advanced Book Repair for the past five years. 
Additionally, our Imaging Field Services Officer, Bill Walker, provides
on-request training on topics such as  Digital Imaging for Photographic or
Text-Based Collections,  Introduction to EAD, Metadata for Digitized
Resources, Project Management for Digital Imaging, and other relevant
