[Preservenw] More Upcoming LYRASIS Online Preservation Classes

Lyrasis is pleased to announce the following upcoming preservation classes:

Introduction to Preservation (Live Online) 02/09/2010 ? 02/11/2010

This web-based class will outline the features of a collection care program,
demonstrating how all library staff has a role to play in preserving the
collection.

Planning for a Service Disruption (Live Online) 02/11/2010

Participants will conduct a risk assessment exercise for their location,
determine their current level of preparedness, and will perform a scenario
filter exercise that can be use to help determine core services.

 

These classes are funded in part by the National Endowment for the
Humanities (NEH) Division of Preservation and Access.
