Subject: [Preservenw] Puget Sound Special Collections Interest Group Meeting
Hello to Everyone!
We are on for the first Puget Sound Special Collections Interest Group Meeting on Oct 27th from 11 am to 2 pm here in the Central Library. Sean and I have attached two documents for the meeting-one is the original notice we sent out about the meeting and the second is the Agenda. A word about the agenda: it's very open (really very open) because we want to collect ideas from everyone about Special Collections in the Puget Sound region. We see this as the beginning of a conversation about our resources, our audiences, and our futures. Your participation is eagerly sought! And please feel free to forward this invitation on to others who would be interested. Everyone is welcome.
Logistics for the meeting:
1. Directions to the Central http://www.spl.org/default.asp?pageID=branch_central_directions&branchID=1
2. Parking. The library's garage is a bit pricey, but you can find reasonably priced parking on 8th and Madison (east of the Library across I-5).
3. Lunch. Please bring a sandwich or something for lunch. We'll provide drinks and desserts. We want to be able to continue our conversation thru lunch and make sure those who are coming from greater distances can avoid rush hour traffic.
We appreciate everyone's very busy schedules, so if you are unable to attend but would like to keep in touch, please let us know and we'll get you on the distribution lists.
Let us know if you have any questions.
See on the 27th!
