Registration is now open for the FEMA Region X National Disaster Recovery Framework (NDRF) Stakeholder Forum, which will be held Thurs., March 1, in Bothell, WA.

To register, follow the instructions in the attached PDF. Space is limited. If check-in begins at 7:30 AM and the actual program doesn't begin until 9:00, FEMA must be expecting a large turnout.

Please try to attend. The cultural community has been a contributing voice at each of the forums, and it's important that FEMA continues to hear from us across the country. Because the NDRF has a Recovery Support Function dedicated to Natural and Cultural Resources -- the NCR RSF -- we have the ability to communicate our needs (and what we can provide) through this framework. That's not the case in other frameworks.

When you register, you're asked to indicate which RSF breakout sessions you'd like to attend. Obviously, the Natural and Cultural Resources RSF should be your first choice. Second choice can be the Economic RSF. Nonprofits aren't recognized as having a role in the recovery of a community following a disaster; this is an opportunity to change that misconception.

Let me know if you plan to attend.

Thanks so much!
Lori
