Library 136, Book Repair (3 credits) at Highline Community College Library & Information Services. 

 

This is a very practical "hands on course" in book repair. Save your collection development dollars for new titles by increasing the circulations of current titles through repair. Development of proficiency in performing basic book repairs including: spine repairs, hinge repairs, corner repairs, re-casing, attaching new end-sheets, three types of paper repairs. A few tips and tricks on repairing paperback's without tape.  Includes a quality repair kit that is yours to keep.

*       Class begins June 30th, July 4 Independence Day Holiday. Aug 3 End of six-week session
