I had thought about the config files and tho there is a small amount of html
that can be inserted there I think the goal of html in only one place (the
template files) is a good goal.  I'm leaning toward the two new template
files myself, but I worry about the templates becoming unwieldy.

Can it be done with lines in the config files?  Otherwise I'd be a bigger
fan of one-line files..  Editing the source always seems like a bad idea to
me.. :)
