This should be done when you change configure.ac and type "make"
(provided that you've configured with --enable-maintainer-mode.

I'll be back on the 28th, if we want to wait until then.. It doesn't
really matter to me.

Everything should work just fine with newer versions.  Unfortunately I
don't have any machines with a newer version to test with, but...
