Indeed, I'll bet these are valid bugs. Were they in the filter or 
in "pbcgui", the MMC extension? I want to say they were in pbcgui.

I think we've seen a couple of similar cases and (as mentioned 
over on the users list) we have modifications that aren't 
currently in cvs, although I don't know if this sort of bug has 
been addressed.

Anyway, we need to get those changes checked in; we weren't aware 
that someone else was digging into the Win32 code.
