The following are some great programs that HANDS is sponsoring within the coming weeks and months.  This is a wonderful way to get involved and do good for the greater community.

Hello everyone!

Our Next meeting will be Wednesday, December 3rd, at 5:15 in the
Terry Husky room. We would love to see you there! If you can't make
it, you can still participate in any of the upcoming activities. Here are
some of the activities for this quarter:

Food and Clothing Drive--December 2nd-16th 
We will be collecting food and clothing to donate to the Orion Center, a
shelter for teens. If you are interested in helping, please email
uwhands at u.washington.edu.

Giving Tree--Ends Dec. 5th
We will be assisting in collecting gifts to be given to children at
Children's Hospital. If you are interested in helping, please email
uwhands at u.washington.edu

Jingle Bell Run--December 14th--Downtown--Early morning
We will be helping out with whatever is needed. You will also get a FREE
T-shirt. If you are interested in helping, please send an email to
grl2 at u.washington.edu

Children's Hospital--Winter Quarter
We will be working in the playroom and just basically playing with the
kids and possibly doing an art project.  Any where from 1-5 people can go and
the sessions run from 2-4pm.  If you are interested, please send an email with
the days you are available to uwhands at u.washington.edu.

Habitat For Humanity--Winter Quarter
Next quarter we are planning a Saturday to go and help build with Habitat for
Humanity. If you would be interested, please send an email to
uwhands at u.washington.edu.

Tutoring at Bryant Elementary--Mon-Thurs., 3:10-4:30
This is a project that is more of an individual thing. If you would be
interested in tutoring elementary school students, please email
uwhands at u.washington.edu.

Serving Dinner--TBA
We will be serving dinner at the Orion center, a center for homeless
youth. We will have a specific date and time for you very soon. If you
are interested, please send an email to jlaye at u.washington.edu.
