ASUW Experimental College instructor Nils Osmar will be presenting two films, followed by an interactive question and answer session this Saturday.  Nils teaches three classes related to acting and filmmaking through the Experimental College (Making Movies; Beginning Acting; and Acting on Television).   Come see what Experimental College instructors and students have been up to!

Nil's Osmar will be presenting two films:

1) GUILT QUOTIENT (20 min)
Guilt Quotient is a satire about a man who flies off to another planet for a vacation, finds himself entangled in a confusion of cultural mores, and ends up accused of the murder of a young woman he had briefly dated.  The actors were all students in the Experimental College class, Acting on Television, in summer 2005.

2) XEROS (75 min)
Xeros is a feature-length film, shot in Seattle in 2003, which premiered to a sold-out venue at the Seattle True Independence Film Festival in June 2005.  It's a murder mystery and psychological thriller with political overtones, set ninety years in the future in Seattle.  It was written and directed by Experimental College instructor Nils Osmar, stars Andy McCone and Meredith Binder, and features an original musical score by Rebecca Wolf-Nail.

Nils Osmar has made his living in the arts since 1986.  He has  taught a variety of classes in the arts for over ten years, at the ASUW Experimental College and other schools.  His artwork has been published in the U.S. and Europe, and featured in national magazines. His stageplays have been produced at the Seattle Fringe Festival and other venues. He is the author of a short story collection, The Hungry Time, and creator of an award-winning television show (The Edge). His third feature-length science fiction movie, ZAKAAR, is now in preproduction.
