Register for the UW Relay for Life

When: May 12, 2012, 2:00 pm - 8:00 am
Where: Campus

RHSA, Hall Councils and RAs come to the rescue for residents year round,
helping us take a break from schoolwork and creating a wonderful
environment the Huskies can be proud to call home. This year, UW Relay
for Life is asking that RHSA and Hall Councils come to the rescue in
another way. Register for UW Relay for Life to take part in honoring
survivors and those we've lost, help raise money and awareness for
cancer research and patient services.

Our Theme this year is "Relay to the Rescue!", so feel free to come
dressed in your Super-hero attire. Our Goal: to register a team for
every residence hall floor. The more teams and people who show up, the
more awareness we raise in the fight against cancer!

Relay for Life is one of the Largest events at UW. Join at
www.uwrelay.org <http://wwww.uwrelay.org> and we can all work together
to "Celebrate, Remember and Fight Back!" If you have any ideas or
questions, or want more information about the Winter Break Fundraising
Challenge, please contact: Lindsay Little, Residence Hall Recruitment
Committee Chair, UW Relay for Life, at lml725 at uw.edu or

Good Luck on Finals, and Have a Great Break!

Brainteaser of the Week:

"This thing all things devours: Birds, beasts, trees, flowers; Gnaws
iron, bites steel; Grinds hard stones to meal; Slays king, ruins town,
and beats high mountain down. What am I?"

Send your answers to rhsa at uw.edu. <mailto:rhsa at uw.edu>

First resident to guess correctly will be featured in next week's email
& entered into a raffle at the end of the year.
