RHSA Updates


RHSA 2011-2012
The end of Winter Quarter means that you should start thinking about
what you'll be doing next year!

In Spring Quarter, RHSA will open up elections for the RHSA President
for 2011-2012, and applications will be due for the other five selected
positions.

If you're looking to be involved in your home, and to make a huge impact
on the lives of over 5,600 students while having fun, then learn more by
coming to an information meeting:
Wednesday, March 2, 6:30 pm- McCarty ABC
Wednesday, March 9, 6:30 pm- Lander L-135

upcoming movies? Did you know that they also let you into certain

To get your RHSA Sticker, all you have to do is fill out thisFORM

Once you sign up, you'll be entitled to receive your RHSA. You will be

you sign up (e.g. If you sign up on a Monday, we won't have you listed
until the following Friday).

The RHSA Texting Program is now up and running.You can sign up HERE

can expect to receive about 2 to 6 texts a months with the 411 about
happenings in the Halls. An example would be a reminder aboutupcoming
events that you shouldn't miss out on, opportunities to enter into
raffles and win prizes, or alerts on randomly selected days when you can
get a free drinkby showing your RHSA Sticker at any residence dining
hall.

Yes, there are many benefits to being a Residence Hall Student, and
there are even more if you're signed up to our listserv and texting
program. So if you haven't done it yet, why wait? Do it Today!

Run for the ASUW Board of Directors! Info Sessions!
When: Thursday, March 10th @ 5:30pm
Where: Savery Hall, Room 168

Interested in running for a spot on next years ASUW Board of Directors
and representing over 40,000 student voices? Not sure what it's all
about? Well come check out an information meeting on what to expect and
how to get involved.

Information meetings will be held in Savery Hall Room 168 at 5:30 p.m.
on Tuesday, March 1st and Thursday, March 10th. We will cover all of
next year's positions, important dates, and all the steps it will take
for you to file to run for office.

All undergraduate students are eligible to participate so come check it
out, even if you just want to volunteer with the elections. Any

UW Relay for Life

Come out and join us on May 21-22 to celebrate all the money our teams
have raised for the fight against cancer! There will tons of fun things
to do:

*         Themed laps

*         Music and live bands

*         Fields for soccer, flag football, etc.

*         Sumo wrestling

*         Lots of FOOD

*         And much, much more!

All you have to do is go to www.relayforlife.org/uwwaand click Sign Up
to register your team.

Then from now until May 21st we fundraise, fundraise, fundraise!! This
year, each participant is required to raise $50 in order to receive
their participant's t-shirt. Remember, a little goes a long way! We are
encouraging each club to get together and make a team today! We hope to
see you all at the big event on May 21st!
