February 12 marks the 200th anniversary of the birth of Charles Darwin, and on Monday, February 9, UW biologist Joe Felsenstein will present a lecture called "Before and After Darwin," in which he will discuss the history of evolutionary theory before Darwin, say a few words about Darwin, and discuss developments since Darwin as well as current debates within evolutionary biology. The lecture will be at 6 PM on Feb 9, in Sieg 224. The event has been arranged by the Secular Student Union, but all are invited to attend free of charge.
