Journey for Compassion: My Life as a Tibetan Buddhist Monk*
Khen Rinpoche Lobsang Tsetan, Abbot of Tashi Lhunpo in India, journeyed to
and fro from Tibet as a youth to study at the Tashi Lhunpo Monastery in
Shigatse, Tibet. He is the founder of the Siddhartha School for poor Ladakhi
children, and lectures widely at American universities and museums on the
meaning of Tibetan art and philosophy.
This event is co-sponsored by the Center for Global Studies, East Asia
Center and the South Asia Center.
