Women Leaders from Pakistan*

[image: Pakistani Women]As the people of Pakistan face disastrous floods and
domestic and international conflict, what programs exist to support
Pakistani women? How can economic and business development empower women in
Pakistan and what challenges do Pakistani women face in business leadership?

Join the World Affairs Council and the Global Business Association and Women
in Business (MBA clubs) at the University of Washington's Foster School of
Business for a panel presentation and reception with a delegation of
prominent women NGO leaders, lawyers, and journalists from Pakistan who are
actively working to improve the status of women in their country. The
delegates will be in Seattle as a part of the State Department's
International Visitor Leadership Program. Representatives from the
delegation will discuss their work in Pakistan, current challenges facing
Pakistani women and how they are working to meet those challenges through
business and economic development. The panel will be immediately followed by
a networking reception. Join us for an evening of discussion and cultural
exchange. Register now as space is limited.
