[Ssnet_list] SSNet Colloquium - 3/10: Discussion with Nancy Cartwright

Our last Science Studies Network Colloquium of the quarter, a discussion with Nancy Cartwright (Philosophy, London School of Economics and University of California, San Diego), will take place on Monday, March 10th.  As usual, the colloquium will meet from 12:00-1:20 pm in the Simpson Center seminar room (CMU 202). We will no longer accept reservations after noon on Thursday, March 6th, or once the session has been filled, so please RSVP as soon as possible in order to reserve your place for the meeting (and lunch).

Nancy Cartwright has pre-circulated three papers she plans to discuss with us at the colloquium: "The Rational Structure of Physics", "In Praise of the Representation Theorem", and "Against 'The System'".  These papers are attached to this e-mail, and are also available at the SSNet website:
