Hello everyone!

It's a little belated (due to the fact that I was out sick for a week), but I wanted to give a big THANK YOU to everyone that helped out with the Heebie Jeebie ball last Friday, and also for everyone who came! You all made our fall dance one of, if not, the most successful dance in Swing Kids history with almost 300 people in attendance! We put on these dances for you guys, and that's just the support that we need to keep bringing you these events with awesome bands and lots of fun things either free or very very inexpensive! So again, THANK YOU!

Now, onto lesson and event announcements!

**Beginner Lessons**
Wednesday, Nov. 14
5:30 - 7pm, Hansee Hall
Lindy I: Learn the basics of Lindy hop, which is pretty much the most common (and awesome!) type of swing dancing done in Seattle. Brett and Adrienne will be teaching, so come out and learn from these awesome dancers! No dancing experience or partner necessary. Be sure to stick around afterward for dancing and Team Food!

**Member Lessons**
Wednesday, Nov. 14
5:30 - 7pm, Hansee Hall
This week David and Faifan will be teaching a 6-count technique class! Be sure to bring dues if you haven't paid yet!

**Routine Class**
Unfortunately, both David and Shayla will be gone this weekend for another dancing event, so there will be no routine class this week. Next Friday is the holiday, so there will also be no official routine class as well, although stick around for further information about extra dancing lessons and events going on Thanksgiving weekend for those who will be in Seattle!

We will resume routine class Friday, November 30th with the Big Apple! Whoo!

**Girls Only Solo Charleston Workshops**
The time you all have been waiting for has come!
Monday, Nov. 19
5:30 - 7pm, Hansee Hall
Shayla will be hosting a girls only solo charleston work shop aimed at helping strengthening not only dancing skills but confidence for solo as well as partner dancing and movement! It's going to be a lot of fun! Please RSVP so I know how many people to expect!

Hope to see everyone out dancing!

Sincerely,

Shayla
