[Ttclist] May 15th Tournament, Officer Elections, and Bonding!

Hello again Husky TTC!

As you may know, we are hosting a tournament on May 15th in the IMA Gym B (where we usually practice). A women's team from Oregon and some people from Kitsap TTC will be coming to compete. If you are a paid member of Husky TTC and would like to participate in this event, all you have to do is:

1) Make sure you've filled out an IMA waiver form. Many of you have already filled out this form, but if you haven't, it's essential that you do. The form is attached - there is a different form for those of you under 18.

2) Reply to this e-mail to let me know that you plan to participate. Please give me your first and last name in your response.

The tournament is free, and spectators are also allowed to watch for free. Spectators can be admitted simply by stating your purpose to the card checker. The tournament will be a round robin, so everybody gets to play multiple people, with the best three out of five rounds.

It's also time to elect officers for the 2010-2011 school year! If you have nominations, please reply to this e-mail with the nominees' full names. The deadline for nominations is next Monday, May 10th. I will notify you if you are nominated, in which case you may accept or decline the nomination. The final nominees will be voted on during club time on Thursday, May 13th. If you cannot make it to the club time on May 13th, please e-mail me your vote before that midnight.

Also, if you'd like to join us, a few club members are going out for bubble tea on the Ave next week! A specific date is yet to be decided, but I'll keep you posted.
