Jenny Stone and I started building the UWCGIA web site and need all of you
to fill in the blanks.  Which departments have we missed?  Are there any
blatant errors that are showing up on the page already?  The URL is:

The information we need from you all includes:

1.  URL's for projects currently being worked on in your dept's

2.  Facilities within your departments, including:
  a.  Hardware - Machines running GIS related software, plotters,
	digitizers, hours of lab use, room numbers/buildings, machine 
	specifications (i.e. p166/64MB RAM) anything else you can think of
	related to hardware.
  b.  Software - Which software packages are you running?  ArcView,
	Arc/INFO, MapInfo, ERDAS, Atlas, anything else.  Please include
	version numbers if possible.
  c.  GIS People - Lab managers, faculty/staff within your department who 
	are involved in GIS in some way or another.

3.  Data and its availability.  Is it already on the web/ftp or is it just
  on your departmental server?  Is the data public domain or licensed to 
  the UW or your department?

4.  Teaching and curriculum.  What classes are being offered by your
  departments pertaining to GIS?  Who teaches them, when are they offered?

Let's take this a few steps at a time.  We can always add much more
later.  More specific interests, etc.

Please coordinate within your departments to fill out this information,
that way you don't duplicate efforts.  We would like to have something
back from you all by next Wednesday :) November 5.
