Subject: Post Doc for Spatial Data Uncertainty
Dear UCGIS Members:
I regret that I will not be with you all at the Park City meeeting this
year--no doubt you are on your way or there already. All is going well
with my move to the Forest Service, and I love being back in California!
I enjoyed participating very much in UCGIS, learned much about
geography, and found the openmindedness of the group towards
nongeographers very pleasant. I plan to keep in touch even though I am
a Fed now.
IF THERE IS A JOB BOARD AT UCGIS PLEASE POST.
Pass this job announcement (it should be officially announced very soon)
on to young geographers you think are suitable or send their names to me
to contact. I need an excellent person who is a good independent
thinker and reasonably self-directed. They should be good to excellent
with UNIX machines and have some background in spatial statistics. The
position has the potential to last for 3 years and includes full Federal
benefits.
The attached file is RTF.
