Hi group,

It is time to make definite the list of who will be attending the UC in
San Diego at the end of June. I've basically hijacked one of the seats
for myself (I am presenting this year, so I hope nobody minds). There
should be 2 seats left for UW, if things are the same as they have been in
the past. On this campus, only Jenny Stone, Rob Norheim (both staff) and
Luke Rogers (student) have expressed interest in going, as I recall.
Though I know of a few other students who are interested in attending, I
think it best that the seats go first to staff/faculty, then to students
if there are left over seats. This is a real possibility since the
statewide license has gone through. I am not aware of anyone else from
the state higher ed who has signed up or even expressed an interest. I'm
waiting to hear from our statewide coordinator on this issue.

For those who are interested in attending but who do not get one of the
complimentary seats, the registration fee for University folks is only
$495 (rather than the full price of $1195).

Unless anyone has compelling reasons otherwise, I say the 2 seats should
go to Rob and Jenny.

-P.
