[UW-GIS-L] How do I access the UW ESRI License Servers

I am installing ArcGIS on my workstation following the online tutorial. I
encountered errors regarding the license manager during installation, as
the tutorial warned. I complete installing ArcGIS Desktop and then ArcGIS
Workstation.

I pinged both servers: sde.gis.washington.edu and zeus.caup.washington.edu
and got responses.

I configured my environmental variables creating an "ESRI_LICENSE_FILE"
variable with the value
"27005 at sde.gis.washington.edu;27005 at zeus.caup.washington.edu"

I then opened my ArcGIS Desktop Administrator to finish configuring the
License Manager, the current name being my computers name, I clicked
"Change..." and entered "sde.gis.washington.edu,zeus.caup.washington.edu"

I then receive the message "The computer you chose is not a valid license
server"

I don't know what to do from here.
