[UW-GIS-L] Color for Map objects in GPS Receiver?

Hi All,

You know, the color set for map is complex and some maps have different main color. So I'm wondering if there are standards or researches to show that which color should be used for displaying the different map objects, I mean, the ojbects created by the user to annotate the map in GPS receiver, say, Waypoint (including Icon and Text), Route and Track. If someone of this list have experience or materials of this topic, please share with me. Highly appreciate your feedbacks.
