Hello ESRI Washington Higher education contacts,



I'm writing to let you know about an internship opportunity we have this
summer in the ESRI Olympia regional office. If you know of a candidate
or two that would be a good match, please send them our way. Please feel
free to share this email to others who may have interest. We're looking
for an outstanding and energetic individual to fill a 10-12 week summer
internship position in our regional office in Olympia, WA.  The chosen
candidate will have an opportunity to work directly with the Technical
Sales team and assist with testing and developing software product
demonstrations that will focus on the ArcGIS 9.2. release.



A candidate for the internship with the ESRI-Olympia office would have
the following qualifications:



*	Working knowledge of GIS technology (ArcGIS Desktop) and some
exposure to the geodatabase.
*	Experience with database technology such as Microsoft's Access,
SQL Server, or equivalent is an advantage but not required .
*	Working knowledge of standard office productivity tools (MS
Word, MS Powerpoint, Email, etc).
*	Experience with structured programming (Avenue, Visual Basic,
C++, etc) is an advantage but not required.
*	Candidate must have good work habits (be on time, reliable,
etc).
*	Candidate must be organized and have good writing skills.
