[UW-GIS-L] New ArcGIS install -- rasters won't load

Scott,

Check to see if your write permissions for those directories are set 
wrong ( = read only), also check where ArcMap/ArcCatalog is "temping" 
files. Sounds like a write permissions problem to me.
